One Fine Season Wins Awards in Two Book Contests
One Fine Season received a Bronze Medal in the category of religious fiction from the 13th Annual Independent Publishers Book Awards (IPPY), which also selected the debut novel as a semifinalist in the popular fiction category. More than 4,000 books were entered in various national and regional categories. The judges results were announced in mid-May. In addition, the book was awarded a Silver Medal in the First Annual "d'vinexpressions" Self-Published Christian Book contest.

Synopsis

One Fine Season is baseball fiction crafted around Christian/spiritual themes, an uplifting, inspirational novel that tells of exceptional achievement - with the help of both heavenly and human guidance – in the face of crushing personal loss.
